Position Objective The Manufacturing Manager will create and maintain production processes that enable company growth. Maintain and improve the processes that produce high quality products in keeping with our excellence in customer satisfaction. Responsibilities This position is responsible for meeting all departmental goals including Safety, Quality, Availability, Production-to-Schedule, and Manufacturing Costs. - Implement new systems to improve efficiency - Develop, track, report, and make management decisions using relevant operational metrics. - Analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions - Organize the process from production scheduling to final packaging - Ensures budget, schedules and performance requirements are met - Write, edit and improve SOPs to drive improved process efficiency - Regularly interact with senior management to achieve company directives - Drive design for manufacturability of new products. - Hiring, mentoring and training employees - Build team member involvement to inspire excellence - Other related duties may be assigned as required
Experience / Requirements - Minimum BSc (MSc or PhD preferred) plus formal management training or MBA - Minimum five years manufacting management - Demonstrated ability to execute company strategy - Hiring / firing - Personnel management and development - Working knowledge of document control software - Working knowledge of ISO processes Traits of the successful candidates - Strong organization ability and process minded - Goal oriented - Acute attention to detail - Strong leadership skills and ability to develop people Working environment Works in a production environment.
