Cytoskeleton, Inc. offers two different protein assays, the Advanced Protein Assay (ADV01) and the Precision Red Advanced Protein Assay (ADV02). Both these assays combine many great features making them advantageous over conventional protein assays:

• Single component assays
• Quick: measure protein concentration in 1 min
• Very low protein to protein variance (see Figure 1)
• Broad linear range (especially ADV02)
• Detergent and chemical compatibility (see Table 1 and the ADV chemical tolerance page)
  
  

ADV01 is a protein assay with very high sensitivity, making it ideal for uses such as measuring protein concentration in:

• SDS-PAGE sample buffer
• Very low protein concentration solutions
• Column fractions
• Purified proteins and antibodies
  
  

ADV02 is a protein assay vwith a very broad linear range. This reagent is so reproducible with a wide range of proteins and protein concentrations that it is employed to accurately determine the concentration in all of Cytoskeleton, Inc's protein products. It is ideal for uses such as measuring protein concentrations in:

• Cell extracts
• Serum samples
• Medium to high protein concentration solutions
• Protein requiring GLP and higher standards
• Purified proteins and antibodies
