Introduction
The Vimentin Biochem Kit™ is an extremely quick and economical way to become familiar with the properties of vimentin protein.  It allows researchers to work with vimentin in the tetrameric (unpolymerized form) and/or the polymeric filamentous form.

Kit contents
The kit contains enough materials for 5-50 assays depending on experimental setup. The following components are included:

1. 5 x 50 µg Vimentin protein (Cat. # V01)
2. Vimentin Subunit Buffer
3. Vimentin Polymerization Buffer
4. Manual with detailed protocols and extensive troubleshooting guide
   
   

Example results
Vimentin was polymerized according to the protocol in kit BK020 and visualized with transmission electron microscopy (Fig. 1).
