Spirochrome: Flipper-TR Membrane Tension Probes
Flipper-TR® (by Spirchrome) is a live cell fluorescent membrane tension probe that simplifies the methodology for investigating changes in membrane tension when used in combination with standard fluorescence lifetime measurements (see Flipper-TR FAQ for practical details).

Legend:Changes in plasma membrane tension alter the planarizable Flipper-TR probe. Altering the position of the fluorescent groups produces different fluorescent lifetimes, which are quantified with FLIM microscopy.
