Actin Oxidation Tools

Physiologic and reversible methionine oxidation of actin at Met44 and Met47 by the intracellular flavoprotein monoxygenase protein MICAL and the converse reduction by the reductase MsrB has been shown to drastically affect actin depolymerization as well as actin dependent cellular and physiological processes.
