Stabilized microtubules have been prepared from tubulin protein purified from porcine brain that is ≥99% pure T240;

MTs are prepared from tubulin that is ≥99% pure T240

MTs are tested in a MT activated Enzyme Linked Inorganic Phosphate ATPase Assay: ELIPA™ assay BK060. The motor protein used in this assay is Kinesin Heavy Chain (KHC) motor domain. Under the assay conditions (see datasheet) the MT activated ATPase rate for KHC is 1,000 nmol ATP hydrolyzed/min/mg KHC, cv ≤3%.
