The actin test kit combines 3 live cell actin probes SiR-actin CY-SC001, SPY650-FastAct CY-SC505 and SPY650-FastAct_X CY-SC502, offering a wide flexibility for actin imaging in live and fixed cells. All the probes are bright, emitting in the far red, fluorogenic, STED compatible and cell permeable. Their complementary properties ensure using the best probe in every situation.

As the FastAct™_X line is only mildly fluorogenic they should be imaged by microscopes that are capable of out of focus light exclusion. Widefield microscopy is not recommended for imaging with FastAct™_X reagents due to a high background.
