Use as an affinity reagent for enrichment of active (GTP-bound) RhoA, B, C

The Rho-binding domain of the human Rhotekin protein has been overexpressed as a GST-tagged recombinant protein in a bacterial expression system.

Protein purity is assessed by scanning densitometry of Coomassie Blue-stained protein on a 4-20% polyacrylamide gel. Purity was determined to be ≥90% pure.

The biological activity of RT01 is assessed by its ability to selectively bind the active forms of RhoA protein in GTPγS-loaded lysates, compared to the inactive forms in GDP-loaded lysates (see datasheet). In this assay, the GTPγS-loaded samples typically show a 2-3-fold increase in RhoA signal compared to the GDP-loaded samples.
