Anti-SUMO-2/3 antibody (ASM24) was raised against full-length recombinant SUMO-2 protein (Uniprot: P61956) combined with a proprietary mix of peptides that include CQIRFRFDGQPINE. A linear epitope has not been identified and ASM24 appears to recognize a conformational epitope making it an excellent choice for IP and IF applications. ASM24 immunoprecipitates a wide range of SUMO-2/3 targeted proteins. It is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Sensitivity:

• An IP using ~40 µg ASM24 detects endogenous SUMOylated RanGap1 (~98 kDa) and SUMOylated TFII-1 (~130–140 kDa) from 1 mg HeLa lysate

Specificity:

• An IP using ~40 µg ASM24 detects endogenous SUMOylated RanGap1 (~98 kDa) and SUMOylated TFII-1 (~130–140 kDa) from 1 mg HeLa lysate; signals drop ~60% and 50% respectively in SUMO-2 shRNA knock down cells.
